Today’s featured clip is none other than Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers from the 1943 film, Stormy Weather. Their performance of “Jumpin Jive” reminds me of the amazing stories I’ve heard about the Cotton Club in Harlem, New York. Most importantly, I am in awe of their amazing talents, and become curious about their experiences in America during the early 20th century.
These artists are quite an inspiration! Their effortless scat singing and tap dancing abilities have made impeccable impacts on American culture.
