Reflection of the Week…

It’s amazing how something you did as a child will remain with you throughout adulthood. One summer, I remember coloring a picture in Vacation Bible School that read “Faith Is the Victory That Overcomes The World” (1 John 5:4). I hung it on my grandmother’s refrigerator and used to read it daily. It came to mind and helped me recently. This may be food for thought for someone out there today…just remember no matter how things appear in your life, with the faith of a mustard seed, God can work out for you (Matt. 17:20)! Any favorite verses or quotes that help you through good and bad times?

  1. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
